URJAK Fellowship Programme an initiative of ONGC Foundation towards creating Swachh Vidhyalyas

The URJAK Fellowship has been rolled out as a part of the Swachhta Fellowship Programme 2022. Through this programme ONGC Foundation aims to repair the school toilets constructed by the Oil and Natural Gas Coorporation in years 2014 to 2019 under the Prime Minister Swachh Vidyalaya Abhiyan Scheme. In this fellowship URJAK Fellows will be allocated at block levels for monitoring and surveying the condition of various Vidyalaya Toilets constructed under the scheme, this initiative will also be helpful in inculcating the practice of hygiene & sanitation which will encourage the sense of community ownership among the people towards the built toilets, through IEC activities arranged by the URJAK and SWACCHTA Fellows. The URJAK Fellows will actively be a part of the ground-level social change for a period of 8 months.

To inculcate positive behavioural change in the society, to bring a sense of responsibility among the people and public authorities, while ensuring community ownership for the constructed toilets under Swachh Bharat Mission initiated by the Govt.Of India.

 

Bachelors in Any Discipline/Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Civil.

 

A bachelor’s pass-out in 2021 Or Completed bachelor’s in or after 2020.

Students anticipating final results can also apply.

Must own a smartphone for geo-mapping.

Must have a two-wheeler vehicle with a driving license.

Must have proficiency in English, Hindi, and required local languages.
