Gender Sensitisation training programme for University/College students plays an important role in the development and growth of the students. The students are the message bearers for the rest of the society. In this regards the Odisha State Open University (OSOU) is facilitating gender sensitization training for revealing the following objectives:

The objective of the training programme is to:

• Sensitize the students on the gender discrimination.
• Familiar them regarding the constitutional safeguard for gender equality.
• Train the youth on the socio-economic status of Women in the state of Odisha.
• To make them understand the implicit gender based discrimination against women in a lifecycle approach
• Enable them to know the constitutional provisions and laws relating to gender issues in India.

 Participant level / Target group: University / College Students (both boys and girls)
