Certificate in Legal Awareness (CLA)

Certificate programme in Legal awareness is designed to promote consciousness of legal culture, participation in the formation of laws and the rule of law. The motto of the programme is to provide civics education, comprising of a range of activities intended to build public awareness and skills related to law and the justice system.
After successful completion of this programme the learners will

• have basic understanding of Indian legal system and have confidence in the legal system
• have knowledge of individual rights and entitlements
• be able to prevent themselves and others from deception, exploitation and deprivation of rights
