His Excellency the Governor of Odisha, Shri Raghubar Das is the Chancellor of the University. By virtue of his office the Chancellor is the head of the University. He enjoys the power to appoint the Vice-Chancellor, to preside over the convocations of the University and to cause an inspection/inquiry of any matter connected with administration and finances of the University .
