Connectivity to Sambalpur

By Air:

The Nearest airports are Veer Surendra Sai Airport ,Jharsuguda (62 km, 39 mi) and Swami Vivekananda Airport, Raipur (262 km, 163 mi) and Biju Patnaik International Airport, Bhubaneswar (325 km, 202 mi).

Sambalpur is one of the Divisional headquarters of East Coast Railways. There are four Railway stations namely Sambalpur (Khetrajpur), Sambalpur Road (Fatak), Hirakud and Sambalpur City (CT Station) in Sambalpur. There are direct Train Connections to all metros and prominent cities across India.

National Highway- 6 connecting Mumbai to Kolkata passes through Sambalpur & Sambalpur is Connected to Bhubaneswar through National Highway 42. There are also two bus stands (Govt. and the private),Govt Bus stand is situated at Laxmi Talkies Chhaka and Private Bus stand is  located at Ainthapali, about 3 km from Govt  Bus stand. Taxis and auto rickshaws are also available.
