Vision:

The Department is committed to integrated all facets of commerce to educate and train innovative and competent human resources globally suitable for industry, business and service sectors and to equip and encourage them to start their own ventures in urban and rural areas benefitting both the classes and masses.

Mission:

To build a conceptual foundation in the area of commerce and develop students for professional career in accounting, finance, research and higher education.
To equip the students with accounting and entrepreneur skills.

Goals

To meet the demand in Commerce education and provide the necessary manpower to industry, trade, PSU's, Government and Private Enterprises in the area like Accounting, Finance, and Marketing.
To Study and analyze the new industrial and commercial culture.
To understand and measure current events, develop independent logical thinking, and train towards personality development.

Objectives

The main objective of the Department is to impart to the learners the important skills like conceptual, entrepreneurial, and analytical skills required for handling the Business Operation.
To impart knowledge and develop understanding of Research Methodology and its application.
